Strange Summer Camp

I'm glad to be dreaming again, though I have no idea what it all means. It's at least fun to write up and share. I will say that I have very long hair, and most people don't get it. I've been called a freak when I say that I want to grow it as long as I can, and maybe that's true. But it's my call to make, and it's what I enjoy.

Dream Follows Jump

I was at a summer camp. It was a mix of Christian and secular, because I kept having to carry a Bible around with me, but I wasn't required to read it for some of my classes. The main structure in the middle of the camp was like a wooden playground. There were lots of stairs to climb, and different paths you could take. There were some buildings you could go in, but I didn't go into many of them.

At some points I was dogsitting, and C. and A. would come check on me. It seemed out of place from the rest of the dream. Most of it was me wandering around getting from class to class. I don't remember all the content of the classes because the dream is already starting to fade.

Two things stand out:

1) I went to a class with B. and a few other familiar people, though I didn't know their names. We were setting up to watch something in a small building near the top of the playground. I was in this class twice. The first time, we were learning about what video game companies were doing to change the world around them. The second time, I was getting set up so I could take notes, and a man who was supposed to be my father came in. He was tall, fit, balding, and cruel.

I had some stuff on a table before my seat in a leather chair. He picked up a cross stitch project I was working on and tossed it away, putting his notebook on the table as I put mine down forcefully. He then grew angry saying that I was taking his seat. I said that I had been there first, and he had just thrown some of my work away. He scoffed and I pushed him away.

As I sat down in the chair, he grew even angrier and started attacking me because I was being too defiant. He pulled out a pair of scissors and said it was high time that my hair was cut. We struggled as I fought back, trying to keep him away from my hair, and he nicked my right arm with the blade. I called for help and the teacher came in and rescued me. I don't remember how.

2) After the class where I was attacked, I went slowly out to another area of the playground. A dark boy came with me, and even though I didn't know his name, we shared a connection. He asked me about something, and I said I couldn't tell him, but show him. We went down some stairs, and there was a platform with a small horn mark in one corner. His mother came too for some reason and sat on the stairs out of the way.

I said I could show him what I meant, but he'd have to stand on the mark. As he did so, a small goat walked up, and I realized that I too had horns. He faced away from me, and I asked, "are you sure?" He nodded, and I got down on my hands and knees and faced the goat. The little goat immediately came up and locked horns with me. We pushed at each other for a bit, and I was successful. As the goat stepped out of my way, I moved over to the dark boys side and nudged him with my horns, grinning up at him as he looked down.

I noticed that part of the little goat's horn had come off, a small triangle of it. He didn't seem to be in any pain, so I asked, "Are you shedding your horns little one?" After standing up, I told the dark boy we should go to our next class. They were running the deer, and we were a little late. We started walking over as I woke up.
