Yesterday I felt miserable all day with a headache and allergies, so I do apologize about not posting my dream. You'll get two today as a result. I'll post yesterdays dream later in the evening.
Last night's dream held me captive, and despite the fact that I had to get up several times, I was unable to fully wake up, and almost couldn't get up to let the dogs outside when they needed to. My body would not let me leave this dream until I woke up at the end. I woke up feeling better than I have in a while, and also hungry.
I'm going to look up what the creatures in my dream were. They were beautiful and dangerous, and the chitten that stayed with me seemed to choose me in a way. I'll let you know my findings in a separate post.
Namaste
Dream follows Jump
The beginning of this dream was very foggy, but I was with M. and T. in my current house. M. was talking about her divorce, and needed someone to watch T. because he wasn't in school. I offered to do so, and she agreed, but as she did it, Ta. barged in and immediately started taking care of him. She was sweet with him, but I was hurt and I told M. as much. I didn't understand why M. let Ta. look after him after we had agreed that I would. I never really got an answer to that. I think M. left, and I don't know that she intended to ever come back.
I walked into the kitchen and saw L. there. He and I started talking about something that I can't remember. It had to do with the house. I don't remember much of the conversation, but do remember C. coming in at some point, though she looked different with a bobbed blonde hairstyle. Eventually I was led by another girl to the menagerie with large trees and creatures that looked like a cross of cats and owls.
The owl cats were gorgeous, and dangerous. The larger ones were the size of leopards and the chittens were the size of small housecats, well, kittens really, because they were able to sit on my shoulder. They had fur all over their bodies, wings that folded in like an owls and also had fur on the outside and various markings. Most of the ones I saw were spotted gray, brown, or pale orange. They had faces that were a cross of owls and cats. The ones I was shown in the menagerie were all grown up and relatively wild. I was almost scared to touch them, but one of the two I was shown warmed up to me and I managed to pet her head.
I heard something outside, and had to go investigate. The girl who was with me started scolding because I hadn't checked before. She also didn't want me going outside. I ignored her, saying I'd be fine, and shut the glass door to the menagerie behind me. I was in a desert area with rocky outcroppings, and night had fallen. I heard the sound of trucks and motorcycles starting up all over the place as I walked up the path to the brick house that was surrounded by boulders except on the path.
I wished that I had a light as I got closer to the house because it was getting darker by the second. I heard whispers and saw shadows moving, but continued on. As I got up to the house itself and considered turning around, I was grabbed by several people and dragged inside.
They put me in a pen surrounded by little marbles. The marbles were stacked rather neatly, and didn't look like they would scatter. The bars were red and plasticy- especially near the top. I was held in the corner of the pen by a man with strawberry blonde buzzcut hair. He was wanting me to join him and his crew. The marbles behind me where what was left of people who had refused, and there was a dead girl in the pen next to me as well. She was lying on her back, dressed as Kaylee, and looked like she had been cut in half, though admittedly, my vision was blocked by a pole.
There were other men outside the cage, both were larger and black. One didn't look comfortable with this and kept looking at some papers and back at me. I saw Kaylee start to move, she got up, looked at my captor with hatred in her eyes, and started climbing the fence to come over to our side. I tried to distract the man so that he wouldn't notice her, while at the same time edging away from the corner so that I wouldn't get hurt. Right as I got out of the way, she attacked him, and I was distracted by the two black men opening my pen and rushing in.
The one who had looked uncomfortable helped me up and told the boss it was done, and put me in control? I guess? It starts to get foggy here. He then shows me the papers he had been looking at and asked me what I knew of a man he worked with. I said I didn't know much except that he was going through a nasty divorce right now. Coincidentally, was he still working there? The man affirmed, though mentioned that no one really saw him much.
Some chittens bounded in, and I dropped down to play with them, saying "If you want people to join you, you should show them the chittens first!" Two were placed on my shoulders a grey spotted one on my left, and a pale orange on my right. The pale orange one didn't want to sit still, and scampered down my arm when I gave it the chance to return to its litter. The grey one didn't want to leave, even when I gave it the chance. I think it claimed me as its own.
The dream shifted a little, and I was preparing food in a rather large bed and breakfast. I could see flashes of the owner and the housemaid starting up the business, and having trouble because they didn't know what they were doing. I was in a sort of competition, though no one else was present to compete. I boiled some beans and began making layers on the display of smoked salmon, beans, and veggies, with a sauce created with the beans. I know I didn't cook enough food to finish the display, and I was docked points for that as I woke up.
